Lindy reads your meetings, so we take privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.
This policy describes how Lindy collects and uses personal information when you use our website and product. We only collect what we need to turn your meetings into tasks and briefs, and we never sell your data.
We use your information to provide and improve Lindy - generating tasks and briefs, personalising your workspace, keeping accounts secure, processing payments and sending service messages. With your consent we may also send product tips and updates, which you can opt out of anytime.
To draft your tasks, meeting content is processed by the AI provider you connect with your own key (Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT). Lindy does not include its own AI model - you bring your own, and AI usage is billed by that provider. Your meeting content is not used to train third-party foundation models, and you can choose which model handles your data during onboarding and in settings.
We share data only with service providers who help us run Lindy (such as hosting, analytics and payments) under strict confidentiality, when required by law, or with your direction (for example, an integration you connect). We do not sell your personal information.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and we follow industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfect, but we work hard to keep your meetings and tasks safe.
We keep your content for as long as your account is active. Notes archive retention depends on your plan. When you delete content or close your account, we remove it from active systems and from backups within a reasonable period.
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; turning some off may affect how the site works.
We may update this policy as our product and regulations change. If a change is significant we will notify you in-app or by email. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
